This trek is perfect for those wishing a less strenuous trekking experience or those with only a short time available. The journey takes participants to the famous Thyangboche Monestary with spectacular viewpoints of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Staying in comfortable lodges each evening the trek is a very enjoyable way to experience the Himalayan culture and scenery.

Everest and Lhotse

In Kathmandu our clients enjoy the hospitality of the Tibet Guest House Hotel, set in a quiet courtyard on the edge of Thamal, the tourist district. Your hotel has internet, fax and IDD with TV and airconditioned rooms, an ideal location. We take a spectacular early morning flight to Lukla, our trek start point. Here we meet up with our porters, cook crew and Guide for our 9 day trekking experience

Our first afternoons walk takes us to Phakding, where we spend the night in a Sherpa Lodge. Day two offers us our first view of Everest as we make the steep climb up to the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar. Day three leaves us free to explore Namche, the Sherpa Culture Centre and Museum are all worth visiting. Day four takes us to Thyangboche Gompa along one of the worlds most spectaular walks. Views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamsurku and Kangtega. We visit the Monestery before returning to Namche by way of Khumjung. Our last two days trekking take us back to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu
